The Cozy Cub is a pellet-filled boundary that is very helpful for bigger babies or those with special positioning needs.
The small internal pellets are smooth and feel silky. Unlike more formed boundaries, the Cozy Cub can get into nooks and crannies to provide support exactly where it is needed.
Developed originally for ECMO and post-surgical patients, the Cozy Cub can be used for preemies under bili-lights, babies who are agitated, or any baby who just needs a little ‘more’ support or containment.

Appropriate neurodevelopment positioning enhances physiologic and behavioral tolerance of NICU interventions, decreases stress and supports the developing brain of the infant. The flexed position of the baby in utero is the basis for all future movement, yet difficult to achieve outside the womb.
The Dandle ROO2 is a circumferential system that supports prone, supine and side-lying positions all in one device. It helps to position babies in a manner that supports not only the musculoskeletal and motor systems, but aids and facilitates sleep and neurodevelopment.
The ROO2 optimizes the opportunities for preterm infants to be contained in a flexed, midline position with the ability to move and return to flexion that contributes to physical growth, decreases stress and agitation, decreases energy needs, and helps to promote the formation of healthy neuronal pathways.

Dynamic Positioning Aid
Babies love to be swaddled! By containing motor activity and mimicking the security of a mother’s womb, swaddling comforts babies and results in less crying, more stable heart rates and the ability to sleep through the startle reflex. In a systematic review of swaddling published in Pediatrics in 2007, authors found “swaddled infants arouse less and sleep longer.
Preterm infants have shown improved neuromuscular development, less physiologic distress, better motor organization, and more self-regulatory ability when they are swaddled… (Swaddling) is supportive in cases of neonatal abstinence syndrome and infants with neonatal cerebral lesions.”

Developed by a team of nurses and neonatal occupational and physical therapists, the Dandle PAL’s unique double bean bag design makes it a versatile positioning tool. The Dandle PAL can be used alone, with multiple PALs, or in conjunction with the Dandle ROO2 or Dandle WRAP Stretch.

At DandleLION Medical, we are passionate about optimizing neurodevelopmental outcomes for all babies and helping caregivers provide the best care for patients and families. All of our products are created at the suggestion of clinicians and developed with a team of clinical advisors. We actively search for product ideas that can streamline or provide the bedside caregiver efficiency so they have more time to spend with the infant and family.
The first DandleLION Medical products were created at the request of nurses and therapists who were looking to enhance their positioning aids based on current research. Our DandleLION engineering and marketing teams collaborated with them to create the next generation of neurodevelopmental positioning aids with our Dandle ROO and Dandle WRAP product lines.
When evidence became available about the possible toxic side effects of skin care products used in the hospital, we partnered with a baby skin care expert to create a new line of organic skin care products safe for the most fragile baby skin. When technologies emerged to remove chemical preservatives from 24% sucrose solutions, we worked with a pharmaceutical company to simplify our KISSES formulation to include just purified water and organic sucrose – sweet and simple!
